As much as we’d all love to have the newest, high-tech, top-of-the-line cases for our instruments, budget constraints often stand in the way. Most of us make do with our much loved, slightly older cases that get our instruments safely from point A to point B.
If this is you, chances are you know all too well the frustrations of securing your case only to find the last 2 or 3 clips out of line! Somewhere, somehow, the rubber edging of the case hasn’t lined up and your case is only partially secured.
Good news! This problem is easily solved with a little insider know-how:
- Lay your case on the floor with the contents packed securely.
- Fasten the outer clips starting from the closest hinge.
- Fasten the clips following along the edge and guiding the rubber edging as you go
- Fasten the last clip, which should be on the opposite side of the second hinge from where you started.
